The Health Department Clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00, and offers primary care to patients aged 0 and up. Family planning, maternal health, and sexually transmitted infections services are also offered. A variety of insurances are accepted, and a sliding fee scale is available. The Care Management unit offers care management for at-risk children under the age of 5 and high-risk pregnant women. It also offers the Community Alternatives Program (CAP) that offers case management and support to medically fragile adults and children, allowing them to stay in their homes rather than a long-term care facility.
Environmental Health helps protect the public from environmental hazards by monitoring water quality and waste disposal, as well as maintaining sanitary standards by inspecting restaurants and other public facilities.
