Reno Police Department is currently accepting applications for Police Officer Recruits and Lateral Police Officers.
This is the entry-level classification for Police Officer. Recruits will participate in a 22 week Police Academy. Upon graduation from the Academy, Recruits will be promoted to Police Officers with a starting annual salary of $70,647.04* .
*We also offer 5% on top of base pay for associates and 8% for a Bachelor's degree.
